<>Luca Toni has called for calm despite his exploits in the Fiorentina shirt so far this season.

The Viola hitman is Europe’s most deadly striker at the moment, but he has told fans to keep their feet on the ground despite the 3-1 win over Milan.

"This is undoubtedly the best period of my career, a golden moment for Fiorentina and myself," he said after his brace in the tie.

Fiorentina’s next test is on Sunday night when they travel to the Olimpico to face Roma. "It will be a fascinating clash," he continued.

Roma, who lost 4-1 to Juventus on Saturday, will be without the injured Amantino Mancini in that match.
