Gobbi- 5.5: The most erratic of the Viola backline and was often put into difficulty by the visitor’s wide play. Irregular
Marchionni- 6: Gave good cover to the defensive line, but should have done more to push down the flank. Useful
Zanetti- 7.5: The Italian midfielder linked the defence with attack to perfection and is becoming a point of reference for the rest of the side. Experienced
Montolivo- 7: Had some great shots from range but lacked the small dose of luck needed to find an opening goal. Dangerous
Vargas- 7.5: A constant threat down the left and gave Lichtsteiner a great deal to think about for the entire encounter. Versatile
Jovetic- 7: The Montenegrin picked up where he left off after the game with Liverpool and looked threatening every time he ventured near the box. Rising-star
Mutu- 5.5: The Romanian linked up well with Jovetic but he is still clearly lacking confidence after failing to find the net since August. Pre-occupied

Cribari- 7: Clearly lacking in confidence the Brazilian finally managed 90 minutes without any moments of calamity. Improving
Del Nero- 7: The winger was forced to play out of position as a result of Lazio’s defensive crisis and he put his body on the line for the good of the cause. Generous
Foggia- 6.5: He gave a great account of himself in the first period, but after missing from just yards out, he failed to crown a potential man of the match performance. Unfortunate
Baronio- 6: Gave a solid display in the middle of the park but failed to create as many openings as he would have liked going forward. Dependable
Matuzalem- 6: He created numerous chances going forward but was clearly suffering from the fatigue of Thursday evening’s victory in Sofia. Weary
Mauri- 5.5: Started the game with an incredible through ball in the opening minutes but from then on he failed to open up the Viola. Frustrated
Zarate- 6.5: Couldn’t open up the defence effectively as on previous occasions, but he continued to work down the flanks for the duration of the game. Energetic
Rocchi- 6: Given few chances up top and could have done with more assistance from his teammates at times. Isolated

Dabo- 6.5: The Frenchman gave his side some added cover in a critical moment of the game. Vital
Meghni- N/A: Couldn’t make much of an impact on entry given the huge distance between defence and attack. Ineffective
Luciani- N/A: Marked his Serie A debut with some mature interventions in a critical period of the game. Promising

Frey: 6+. Un paio di ottima uscite con i pugni. Sempre sicuro.
Comotto: 6. Cose buone alternate ad alcuni errori da non commettere. Ma non molla mai.
Kroldrup: 6. Sostituisce lo squalificato Dainelli. Se la cava bene, non soffrendo molto e giocando semplice. Poi quell'errore con Gobbi, ma per fortuna Foggia sbaglia. Un secondo tempo in calo.
Gamberini: 7. Sicuro negli anticipi, sempre concentrato. Rocchi viene sempre recuperato, compito non facile.
Gobbi: 6. Da quella parte la Lazio spinge molto, ma anche lui si concede qualche percussione in avanti. Soffre un po' troppo. Colpevole anche lui, con Kroldrup, quando Foggia sfiora la rete.
Zanetti: 7. Verticalizza sempre, con grande intelligenza. Altra ottima gara la sua, va vicino anche alla rete. L'avrebbe meritata.
Montolivo: 7+. Un paio di grandi giocate. Finalmente propositivo anche in avanti, un paio di grandi tri che per pochi centimetri non entrano in rete. Si mangia la rete che potrebbe portare in vantaggio i viola a fine primo tempo. Ma gioca una ottima partita. Se non avesse sbagliato quella rete sarebbe stato da 8.
Marchionni: 6. Si vede poco sulla destra, spinge meno del solito. Ma quando lo fa è sempre pericoloso. Cala molto nella ripresa.
Dal 29'st Jorgensen: 6+. Entra subito bene in partita, provandoci anche da fuori. Bravo.
Jovetic: 6,5. Cerca sempre la giocata, con ottimi passaggi a Mutu. Un paio di colpi d'alta scuola. Sta bene, gli manca solo la rete. Cala alla distanza.
Vargas: 7. Continua il suo grandissimo momento di forma. Sempre pericoloso, sempre propositivo. Continua a correre e a crossare a ripetizione, fino alla fine.
Mutu: 6. La sua condizione fisica continua a crescere. Bene l'intesa con Jovetic, ci prova spesso da fuori. Gara generosa la sua.
Dal 15'st Gilardino: 6+. Segnerebbe la rete decisiva, ma l'arbitro non concede il gol.
Prandelli: 6,5. Sceglie la formazione che ha strapazzato il Liverpool. Provando ad approfittare dell'effetto entusiasmo. La Fiorentina gioca un buon primo tempo, concedendo anche qualcosa alla Lazio in avanti. Nella ripresa i viola sfiorano la rete a più riprese, ma non sono cinici. E poi quell'episodio...E'stata comunque una grande Fiorentina.
