Pazzini was linked with a move away from the Stadio Artemio Franchi during the summer, as his place came under threat following the arrival of Alberto Gilardino from AC Milan.
Sampdoria and Genoa were both rumoured to be interested in the 24-year-old, but no move has eventuated.
Pazzini hopes to stay with la Viola and deliver on his billing as one of Italy's most promising young strikers.
"I am convinced I will get my chance to play regularly," he told the press. "I know it will be difficult with so many good attackers here, but I am confident in my ability.
"The squad isn't too big because we have to play in three competitions. It's always difficult for players when they're forced to the stands or dropped off the Champions League list, but that's the reality of football."
