Clemente has turned to goalkeeper Vlada Avramov, defender Antonio Rukavina and midfielders Stefan Babović and Zdravko Kuzmanović in his bid to overcome Kazakhstan in Alamaty on 24 March and then Portugal in Belgrade four days after that. While Avramov, Rukavina and Babović have all been unplaying members of the Serbia squad before, this is Kuzmanović's first involvement in the international set-up.

Swiss native
Although Kuzmanović was born in Thun and played for Switzerland at youth level, the ACF Fiorentina midfielder is delighted to commit to the Serbian cause. "I'm Serbian and I want to give all for my country," he said. "It's a matter of what you feel in your heart and I must listen to it." Clemente will be without suspended captain Dejan Stanković for the first match in Kazakhstan, but the FC Internazionale Milano defender will be available for the visit of Portugal.
