The tactician has revealed he will call it a day after pulling the curtain down on his reign at the Franchi, although he hopes that is not for many years to come.

While the Italian media speculate that Fiorentina boss Cesare Prandelli may take over at Roma next season, the coach evidently has other plans for the future.
“Do you know where I will be sitting after leaving the Fiorentina bench? At the park, where I will be able to enjoy the sun and life, which is something I have never done before,” Prandelli told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“It’s too early to talk about [retirement] now because I have a contract until 2011. I would love to extend my stay here.”
Fiorentina patron Diego Della Valle has brought the club back from the brink of death after their bankruptcy in 2002 and demotion to Serie C2. Prandelli has been the main architect in their renaissance.
“When I renewed my deal, it was because I knew I was dealing with amazing owners, an environment that loves football like no other and a winning project,” explained the 51-year-old.
“We want to win together and I am sure I will remain here as long as the Della Valle family are in charge.”
