Mutu: Fiorentina Have Right Mentality To WinFiorentina’s Romanian striker Adrian Mutu believes that his side has the right mentality to win each match they play.La Viola have had an unconvincing start to the campaign, as they currently sit in ninth spot in the Serie A standings. Having said this though, they are only seven points off the pace set by Inter Milan, heading into the 13th round of fixtures.
This weekend they face the sixth-placed Udinese, who are just one point ahead of them, in a crucial contest at the Artemio Franchi stadium in Florence.
Fiorentina’s Romanian international Adrian Mutu, believes that his side can emerge victorious against the Bianconeri of Udine this weekend, as their mental approach to matches is second to none.
“Over the past three years we have worked extremely hard, and put lots of effort into improving ourselves as a team,” Mutu said.
“Within the group, there is a belief that we can win each and every game we play, even if we have to travel away to face a stronger team,” he continued.
Mutu went on to comment about his feelings at an individual level, regarding this season, and his future with the club.
“I have a great desire to play and to succeed with this team in the future.
“I have so far played only nine matches, and as football is my life, I hope to play all the games from now until the completion of the campaign,” he concluded.
La Viola and Udinese to battle this Saturday evening in Florence, with play getting underway at 18:00 CET.
