"We will have to repeat ourselves away from home," he said. "Tonight [goalscorer Zdravko] Kuzmanovic again played a great match. The team was near perfect. Too bad we didn't score the third goal. Their two midfielders put is in difficulty, so I asked my wingers to give even more.
"We did well but we haven't achieved anything yet. Playing every three days is not easy so I give the players my compliments.
"We've done 50% of our job," Prandelli continued, "if we had scored the third goal, it would have been practically over, but also the 2-0 victory is an excellent result because it was obtained against a very strong side. In the return leg I will ask my players to show all their personality."
On veteran striker Christian Vieri's performance, he said: "I saw a great Bobo, I gave him my compliments. But my praise goes to all the players, who are playing every three days right now. Perhaps we will lose some points along the way, but the important thing is to always play with this generosity."
