Fiorentina midfielder Felipe Melo has spoken of his loyalty to the club amidst interest from Italian champions Inter.
The talented 25-year-old has impressed in his first season in Italy, scoring two goals in 34 appearances for the Viola.
La Gazzetta dello Sport yesterday reported Inter were willing to pay Fiorentina £18m plus Nicolas Burdisso for his services.
“I am happy to hear of interest from a great club. It means that I am doing my job well,” Melo told SporTV.
“However, I am a Fiorentina player. I still have four years to run on my contract with the Viola and I am very happy in Florence.
“The city is fantastic and the fans have received me with an great deal of affection since my first day here.
“Inter's interest in me, as far as it appears to be true, clearly makes me happy,” Melo added before moving on to talk about his ambitions with Brazil.
Melo is currently on international duty with the Seleção, as they prepare for this weekend's World Cup Qualifiers.
“I have played a total of three games for Brazil and I believe that I can still give more than I have up to now.
“Working well as I am doing, training session after training session, game after game, I can always improve myself, finding a greater harmony with my teammates.
“I am now totally focused on working well and giving my best for Brazil, seeing that we have two fundamental challenges ahead of us and the Confederations Cup,” Melo concluded.
大意就是梅洛在这很高兴(谁知道真话假话),他还有4年合同 要遵守
PS:遵守你还谈个屁续约
但是大国鸡对他很感兴趣 clearly makes him happy(这MS和标题矛盾)
