Felipe Zooms In On Scudetto Fiorentina midfielder Felipe Melo believes the Viola can shrug off their stuttering start to the campaign and take on Serie A top dogs to claim the title come June.
The Florence outfit currently sit in the middle of the pack and have already suffered two defeats, including a comprehensive 3-0 drubbing by leaders Lazio at the Olimpico.
But they comfortably eased to a 2-0 win at Chievo last week and things are looking up for Cesare Prandelli's men.
"We are a great side," he told Italian paper La Repubblica. "we can have our say in both Seria A and the Champions League this year. I don't know what we can achieve in Europe , I reckon we first need to get out of our group and then we'll see.
"As for the Italian championship, I think we can gun for the Scudetto. A side like ours needs to have high ambitions, even though I'm aware these objectives are hard to get."
