Mutu Tips Jovetic For Big Future Adrian Mutu has tipped Fiorentina team-mate Stevan Jovetic to have a big future in the game, while he is also hopeful that he will be able to return from injury this weekend.
The Viola were one of the biggest movers in the summer transfer market, splashing the cash on the likes of Juan Manuel Vargas, Felipe Melo, Alberto Gilardino and Jovetic.
The club’s star man, Mutu, has been very impressed with the transfer activity, and he is particularly excited about 18-year-old Montenegrin midfielder forward.
“The new players will certainly help us out,” Mutu told Violachannel.it.
“Gilardino has international experience and he has had a great start. I hope that he can continue.
“Jovetic also has great quality and a fantastic future ahead of him.”
This weekend Fiorentina travel to Campania to take on rising forces Napoli, and Mutu is hoping that he will be fit, after he missed the opening day draw against Juventus, as well as Romania’s recent World Cup double-header.
“I hope that I will be 100 per cent ready for Naples,” he stated.
“I feel good, and although I don't know exactly what shape I'm in, I am at the coach's disposal.
“I will analyse the situation with the doctors before the game but personally I feel ready.”
