I'm Not Sorry For Fighting - Fiorentina Midfielder Felipe MeloThe Brazilian is looking forward to returning to the pitch after serving a ban for rumbling with the opposition...6 May 2009 14:51:00
Fiorentina midfielder FelipeMelo has shown no remorse for fighting with Cagliari players after the 2-1 win back in April.
The Brazilian midfielder has served his three-match ban for his part in the tunnel melee at the Artemio Frnachi in week 31. Melo will be back in action this weekend against Catania as he hopes to help his side hold onto fourth place.
The midfielder is in high spirits, but he will not apologise for his role in the fracas, insisting he didn't do anything wrong, despite reports claiming he was at the centre of the trouble.
"I am happy because I can finally play again," Melo told Il Corriere Dello Sport.
"It was hard staying out because it was not my fault. However, the chapter is closed, and I am thinking about the team now.
"Something like this has never happened to me. There is no need for me to say sorry as I did nothing wrong. In order to apologise, you have to make a mistake."
The Viola are currently one point ahead of Genoa in the race for the final Champions
“我很高兴因为我又可以上场比赛了。”
“在观众席上看比赛对我来说太痛苦了,而且这不是我的错。这件事情就让它随风吧,我现在考虑的是下轮比赛。”
“这种事我从来没遇到过,我不必道歉因为我没错,如果道歉那就错上加错。”
