Frey – 7.5: Both keepers were great tonight, and had it not been for Frey’s ability in goal, especially in the second half, the Nerazzurri would have run away with all three points.
Comotto– 6.5: Did well at the back, and worked hard to get forward when he could – acting as another attacking option in the process.
Kroldrup – 6.0: Solid performance by the centre back, who did well to minimize the impact of the Inter attacking trio of Ibra-Mancini-Obinna.
Gamberini – 8.0: Tremendous outing for the central defender, who saved the game for his side on more than one occasion. When the Viola needed someone to step up, he was the man.
Pasqual – 7.5: Did brilliantly to get forward and send in a number of glorious crosses, especially following the substitution of Kuzmanovic. He too was solid at the back, alongside his fellow three defenders.
Kuzmanovic – 7.0: Was the best player on the park in the opening half; however he faded out of it a little in the second half and was substituted as a result. Was the most creative Viola attacking player, and was involved in everything.
Melo – 6.5: By no means a poor performance, just the midfielder failed to have the same impact as some of his team mates in the contest.
Montolivo – 6.0: A quiet outing this evening from the Italian international, however he went about his business in a professional manner, and didn’t put a foot wrong all match.
Santana – 7.0: Very good night for Santana, who was very dangerous when in possession of the ball in the final third.
Pazzini – 7.0: His positioning and attack on the ball was brilliant this evening, his finishing however was questionable, as he failed to hit the target with several opportunities on goal.
Osvaldo – 6.5: Gave his all in attack, and worked his way into the contest especially in the closing stages of the match.
