Fiorentina have reportedly leaped to the head of the queue vying for the signature of Juventus wantaway Marco Marchionni...
Marchionni has been widely tipped to leave the Bianconeri this summer, having found opportunities scarce since his arrival in 2006 due to injury and the form of Mauro Camoranesi.
The 27-year-old has received strong interest from Lazio, who have proposed a swap deal that would see Guglielmo Stendardo remain at Juve after the expiry of his loan from the Biancocelesti.
But reports from Italy claim Fiorentina are preparing to snap up the former Parma winger, as they seek to strengthen their squad ahead of next season’s Champions League campaign.
The Old Lady have already announced that they are prepared to sell Marchionni if a reasonable offer is made.
