Ujfalusi - 6: The Czech defender enjoyed a good game and he was always on hand to deal with the Genoa onslaught. A comfortable display by the big stopper. Kroldrup - 7: Read the game well and he was decisive when dealing with high balls into the box. Kept Boriello at bay for most of the first half and he helped his side when going forward. Gamberini - 5.5: Had to come off due to a thigh injury early on but he was always alert and ready up to that point. It was a shame as he had been excellent. Gobbi - 6.5: A solid display by Gobbi. He could have even scored but his effort just went wide. Helped his side build up play from the back with some decent passing and his work rate was great. Kuzmanovic - 7: Another fine showing by the midfielder displayed a wide array of silky skills and he presence in the middle of the park was a commanding one as he controlled all the movement through it. Liverani - 6.5: Always snuffing out the danger and his tackles ensured Genoa found it difficult when moving into the narrow areas. He was always on the ball in both senses of the words. Montolivo - 7: The young midfielder was carving open Genoa with his slick passing and unpredictable play and movement both on and off the ball. Had a few shots on goal too. Santana - 6.5: The player got the ball rolling for his side by grabbing the opener but then he had to come off with an unfortunate injury. A good showing and his goal was brilliant. Pazzini -7: A great game by Pazzini whose presence in and around the Genoa box was enough to confuse the Rossoblu defence as well as keep them on their toes. He scored a good goal with a nice finish. Mutu - 8.5: The perfect game if there ever was one. A flawless performance by the Romanian who showed just why he is one of Serie A’s hottest strikers. A stunning return to action with an assist and a brilliant goal.
