Lupoli looking for a loan
Arturo Lupoli is considering a January loan move after failing to make an impression with Serie A side Fiorentina.
The Under-21 international was signed on a Bosman in the summer after his contract at Arsenal expired.
But despite being regarded as one of Italy’s brightest prospects and finding himself at a club who openly give youth a chance, Lupoli has remained in the shadows.
With the prospect of spending the next six months on the bench, he could join a smaller Serie A team or move down a Division to net some first team football experience.
“We are in discussions with the club over what could happen in the near future,” admitted agent Claudio Pasqualin.
“Arturo is a wanted man and we are not short of offers. We’ll just have to see what the Viola technical staff want to do.”
Lupoli, who was linked with a move to Napoli earlier in the year, has found it tough to compete with Giampaolo Pazzini and Christian Vieri.
